About This Recipe

These pickled jalapeños add a rejuvenating kick to just about anything that needs a little something. Sprinkle them on fried eggs, stir them into creamy polenta, spice up your savory salads and grain bowls. One of my favorite ways to enjoy these is smothered all over grilled fish. The possibilities are truly endless!

Pickled Jalapeños

Makes 1 Jar 


1 cup water
1 cup apple cider vinegar
1/3 cup sugar
1 tablespoon kosher salt
10 jalapeños (sliced into moons)
2 whole garlic cloves (peeled)


Combine water, vinegar, salt and sugar in a saucepan and bring to a boil, lower the heat and simmer for 5 minutes

Meanwhile, slice jalapeños and place in a jar along with 2 whole garlic cloves

Pour brine over jalapeños and allow to cool for 30 minutes

Store in the fridge for up to 2 weeks
